Open the kitchen screen in a browser on a tablet or spare laptop where the cooks can see it. Give each cook and waiter a PIN for the shared screen, so nobody has a password to remember. Then run one service on it. There’s little to learn: cooks tap an order when it’s ready, and staff mark each request seen, then done.

Can a KDS work with handwritten orders too?
Staff type them in on their phone, and they join the same queue on the same screen as QR orders.
What happens if the internet drops?
It runs in the browser, so it needs a connection. If the Wi-Fi drops, the screen can carry on over mobile data.
How much does a kitchen display system cost?

Does a KDS replace the KOT printer?
It can. Zervoo’s kitchen screen replaces printed tickets and doesn’t print them today. If your kitchen still wants a printer, ask us about it as a custom build.
