Zervoo vs Petpooja: a side-by-side comparison

Petpooja is a billing-first POS with inventory and aggregator links built in. Zervoo is a flat-fee system for the service floor: QR ordering, a kitchen display, POS and a live dashboard on phones you already own. They solve different problems, so start with the one that costs you most.

Which one should you shortlist?

Look at where the money leaks. If it leaks in the back office (GST billing, stock, purchase orders, Zomato and Swiggy order sync), Petpooja is the more complete tool and belongs on your shortlist. If it leaks on the floor (orders taken wrong, tickets lost between the table and the kitchen, guests waiting to order, a waiter walking to the same table twice), Zervoo is built for exactly that and needs no hardware to buy.

Plenty of venues end up needing both kinds of tool eventually. For now, pick the problem that cost you more last month and solve that one first.

What does each one cost?

Petpooja’s pricing page lists a Base plan at ₹12,000 (ex tax), Operations Manager plans at ₹20,000 and ₹30,000, and Marketing Manager plans from ₹20,000 to ₹40,000. It never says whether those amounts are monthly, yearly or one-time, and it calls the plans indicative and subject to change. Ask Petpooja for a written quote that states the period before you compare anything.

Zervoo’s Menu plan, a QR menu with up to 3 dishes in 3D, starts from ₹599 per venue a month. Plans with ordering and the kitchen display are one flat fee per venue per month, quoted after a short call, and the quote states the period. While we’re new, paying for a year up front gets you two months free. Setup is free, adding staff costs nothing, and orders carry no commission. Four or more venues are priced together as a Group. What each plan includes is on the pricing page.

Where Zervoo is stronger

On the floor. Zervoo’s kitchen display keeps the ticket that has waited longest at the top, so a table of two doesn’t get forgotten behind a party of ten. One tap marks an order ready and tells your staff. Guests scan a QR at the table and order from their own phone with no app to install, and service requests (water, the bill, a waiter) reach your staff with the table number attached.

In the menu itself. Any dish can carry a real 3D model that guests turn in the browser or place on their table in AR, generated for you from photos. We could not find a 3D or AR dish menu in Petpooja’s published plans. See how 3D and AR menus work.

In what it takes to start. The kitchen display runs in a browser on any tablet or spare laptop, and staff use the phones already in their pockets. A single venue can be taking orders in about twenty minutes, and we type up the first menu with you on the call.

Where Petpooja wins

Choose Petpooja if you need deep inventory and recipe costing, purchase management, e-invoicing, CRM and loyalty, or Zomato and Swiggy orders flowing straight into your billing. Petpooja lists all of those in its plans. Zervoo’s standard plans don’t include them today, and delivery-app orders don’t come into the Zervoo kitchen screen. Petpooja is also used by a lot of restaurants already, and on its higher plans it sends someone to set it up, which matters if you want help on site.

We would rather say that plainly than lose your trust later. If those are your problems, Zervoo is the wrong first purchase.

Can you run Zervoo alongside Petpooja?

You can. Zervoo does not ask you to rip out a POS you like. Put Zervoo on the floor and in the kitchen (QR ordering, the kitchen display, service requests) and leave your billing where it is. If the two need to talk to each other, we plan it with you as a custom integration rather than promise a connector we haven’t built.

How do you switch, and what if it doesn’t work?

Send a photo of your printed menu before the demo and we type it up with you. Print a QR per table, open the kitchen screen on a tablet, and you’re live. Billing is monthly and you can cancel any time. On the Service and Group plans, your orders, menu and history export as CSV whenever you want, including if you leave, so trying Zervoo doesn’t lock your data in.

Petpooja plan names, prices and inclusions are taken from petpooja.com/pricing, checked on 27 September 2026. Petpooja describes its plans as indicative and subject to change.

common questions.

How does Zervoo pricing compare with Petpooja?

Zervoo quotes one flat fee per venue per month with no setup fee or commission. Petpooja lists its Base plan at ₹12,000 ex tax without stating the period. Get both quotes in writing for a full year, including hardware and installation, and compare the totals.

Can I keep Petpooja for billing and use Zervoo on the floor?

Yes. Zervoo runs QR ordering, the kitchen display and service requests without replacing your POS. If you want the two linked, we can plan that with you as a custom build.

Does Zervoo take a commission on orders?

There is no commission and no per-order fee on any plan. Zervoo never holds the money your guests pay.

Does Zervoo need new hardware?

The kitchen display runs in a browser on any tablet or laptop, staff use their own phones, and guests order from theirs. Nothing new to buy.
